Hooteni Fiewacha

This is my character in the play-by-post game on the http://resourcemasters.com forum called The Gateway run by Chifo. Hooteni is a human of mixed decent. He is a Doppelgänger by profession.

Appearence

Hooteni Fiewacha is relatively tall (6') and quite sturdy (201 lb). He looks a stronger then he is. He has a bald head and blue eyes. His skin is a normal tanned color of someone who spends most of his time outdoors (Hooteni spent most of his life running erands for the old shapeshifter).

He wears green pants and a grey tunic. On top of that he wears loose pale yellow robes. The robes are tied down with a simple rope-belt, from which hangs a pouch containing makeup, and a blonde wig and matching loose beard. There are also liquids that can be used to stain the wig and loose beard to red, brown or black. His money is in a pouch on the insides of the robes. Protecting his feet are a pair of soft leather moccasins. Hooteni wears a broad ring of bone on his left index finger.

Background

Hooteni was abandonned as a child, and was found by some monks of a serene order. These monks had to defend themselves for a long time and thus they have created a fighting style that is defensive by nature (Martial Arts Sweeps with Parrying for Advantage from RMC V). Hooteni found that he was more interested in shapes of everything around him then hi was in the meditation and martial arts excercises.

One day when Hooteni was 13 a travelling circus came to town. The top star of the circus was a shapeshifter. He could shift into almost anything from a rock to a tree to a gryphon! Hooteni was impressed. When night fell Hooteni snuck out of the monastery and into the circus camp. He hid himsels in the wagon of the shapeshifter. The next morning he was startled to wakefullness by an angry-looking table! No wait it was the shapeshifter... Hooteni didn't hesitate, he offered himself up as a servant of this marvelous old man. Thus started the long years of shapshifting practice and apprenticeship. Hooteni kep up his martial arts practice by teaching the old shapeshifter what he had learned in the monastery. In turn the shapeshifter taught Hooteni his trade, and was delighted to find a gifted apprentice.

Now 12 years later the old shapeshifter had heard a proclamation looking for brave "heroes" to explore the Gateway of Mount Syonosis. This he decided was the perfect trial for Hooteni and a chance to find new wonderful creatures and objects to study. Thus he gave Hooteni his old adventuring gear and set him on his way...
