By the time Phjalar has eaten breakfast and packed his things and stepped out his friends are still trying to figure out what to bring with them. It will probably take until noon before they are ready.

Eventually Phjalar's friends also get ready, they have equipped themselves with similar things like Phjalar. Razkel also has his book on the Setmaenen. It is noon and the town is getting quite busy with trade and such. You mount and head towards the east gate.

Once you exit the city from the east gate you are once again greeted with the rolling hils of the Halian countryside. To the north is the forest where Phjalar and Angûlion used to spen much of their childhood. To the west and south-west (beyond the city) you can see the peaks of the Kaum Mountains. The road heads east and you know that beyond the next hill it will fork.
